The Rent-A-Nerd mingling concept is simple: A hilarious, likeable nerd or nerdette is made to "fit" into any occasion by giving the nerd an identity, a premise, and a lot of inside information. In a very goofy and cartoon-like way, our nerds can take on any role. Prior to the performance, we interview you about your group or organization and help you to figure out who your nerd will be posing as. For instance, if you were to have a nerd posing as a new employee or supervisor, you would send out an official memo to your staff a week before the party informing them of this new important job appointment. Also, say that he'll be attending the event and to please make him feel welcome. This will set everyone up for a big surprise!

Your entertainer will interview you (over the phone) to get background on the scenario and the role to be played. In addition, your entertainer will be armed with knowledge of your business, an understanding of your industry, the theme of the event, your goals for the event, and industry jargon. He'll use this information to make his business related conversations with your guests believable, intelligent, and funny.

Your nerd's act is incredibly intense and verbal. He is constantly on their toes, which manifests itself in amazing spontaneity and lightning quick wit. He performs on the edge at all times. Your nerd will have your guests laughing in the aisles as he drums up new friends to floss with him. Like a true crusader spreading the word of nerd, your guru of geek has your top execs wearing tape on their glasses and toilet paper on their shoes. And if there's music, watch out! He's a wildman on the dance floor. Just in case, you might just want to bring your steel-toed shoes.
