Rent-A-Nerd is a comedy entertainment concept that is very unique and creative. Our performers are extremely funny and talented comedians and we offer many clever and exciting ways to entertain at any event.

For a woman's 25th birthday at her jewelry store job, instead of paying good money to hire someone to sing "Happy Birthday," why not have a very nerdy customer stop by who's shopping for a necklace for his mom, only to discover the girl of his dreams!

How about a retirement party for a man named Gary who has driven a garbage truck for 48 years? A very nerdy apprentice garbage man appears who has heard of the legend of "Gary, the Guru of Garbage" and wants to learn the secrets of the craft from the master.

Or, how about a high school graduation party for a Sara who is soon going away to college. A nerdette arrives and introduces herself as Sara's assigned college roommate! Very, very scary.

Since 1987, we've been creating comedy performances that have meaning and depth. The word "telegram" implies a mere "delivery" of something (like a message or balloons). At Rent-A-Nerd, what we deliver is talent and high quality comedy. In addition, we literally top things off by dressing up the guest of honor with a red propeller beanie, black nerdy eyeglasses with tape on the bridge, a red pocket protector (of course), toilet paper on the shoe, and then present a diploma with the v.i.p.'s name on it, as well as yours.
